TROODON
TROODON
"This nimble critter, while not particularly dangerous on it's own, can become quite problematic for a wide variety of creatures when operating in a coordinated group through the use of their venomous bite. Keep your wits about you. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. This creature is known to mimic certain noises. "

Upcoming Changes to the Game [Dev Blog #51] New environmental and attack sounds for dilophosaurus and troodon, their envenomation mechanic has also received their suite of sounds, including ambient vocals from hallucinations. This gives the effect a whole new intensity as the player now feels like they’re constantly surrounded, even when they’re not. This has been very enjoyable to witness in playtesting, as people are now much more paranoid than before.

FIGHTING
Troodon Venom Guide by Haru
RIGHT CLICK | Venomous Leaping attack 360 directional attack. Uses stamina.
(Sub-Adults can deal venom) When Troodon chirps means you can pounce again. Three stages of venom (each pounce = 1 stage) Gives Envenomed. Troodon makes a louder chirp when all 3 stages are completed and means you will deal extra damage with more pounce attacks. Envenomed prey gets a blue/green sheen to them. Envenomed lasts a short period of time. Group pounce after 3rd stage is reached for best effect. If before 3rd stage of envenomed venom will be reset. Aura appears on target if you are tracking them. No Aura = not tracking.
