COMPASS

<WEST | NORTH | EAST>

<WEST | SOUTH | EAST>

Quick Tips: Running in a forest is quieter than running in an open field. Sniffing while walking is louder than sniffing while standing still. Stamina will make your calls more raspy and hoarse lower than 50% stamina.

Spot The Dangers

Traveling across the map is dangerous and if you aren't paying attention could end with you taking a fall to the ground! While these signs may not be visible for all graphic qualities of the game they are subtle so be suspicious if you notice these things.

MAP LOCATIONS

NESTING GROUNDS

Nesting Grounds are located on different parts of the map. They usually include at minimum one primary diet for an Herbivore, a wallowing mud pond. Water may be nearby but normally requires some travel.

Buffs:

Removes Overeating & Vomit debuffs over time instead of all at once.

MUD PIT | TRASH PIT

Once a beautiful Oasis this now trash filled mud pit has become a source of food for the Pteras and any sharp eyed predator who wishes to feast on slippery frogs. Beware a Deino may be lurking in its muddy depths.

THE DAM

Running alongside the southern side of the Swamps is the Dam. A nice spot to rest and find nearby flora and maybe the unexpecting dinosaur.

THE GULLY

Stretching from North West all the way to North East this canyon is safe passage for some, a quick path across the map, or death.

Beware when you are in the northern portion of the map for this gully appears swiftly and deadly. No matter which end you enter or leave there will be water nearby so remember that.

There is a single break closer to the North West side of the gully that allows you to go North or South.

North of Center Plains

CENTER

Vast hilly grasslands with a single river cutting it in half. You have the southern half of center home to mudpit, Spine Wall, Sister falls, etc Also plants such as Agave, Radish, and Marigold.

On the North half of the River you will find the hills rolling into forests leading to a large gully and cliffs. Some plants include: potatoes, radishes, agave, oranges, and coconuts if you go to the NE corner of center.

SOUTH

Spread across the bottom of the map you will enter 3 different sections when going east to west or vis versa. South East is filled with swamps and grasslands, as well as, the Dam. Prime nesting for some.

South Center is an open hilly plains backed up against a forest covering a large mountain. As you head farther south and west you may see the Radio Tower high on the hills.

South West more grasslands surrounded by woods and littered with small patches of trees breaking up the field. Coconuts grow across the whole South West all the way to the port. Water is limited to the South Center River and a small puddle on the beach beware the high cliffs and mountains that go parallel to the ocean and beaches

BEACHES | COASTLINES

South West Beach has: Beaches, the ocean, hidden caves, and a single puddle of safe water to drink. When you are in the south west side of the map you have a choice drink from the beach puddle, head back east towards the river, or head north to Arch Falls.

Depending on your dinosaur some are better than others for traveling distance. But each carries their own risks.

North Beach gives you plenty of turltes and crabs to eat but lacks a safe water source with easy access. Look for the waterfall on the beach in the NE portion of the coastline to find safe water.

Full of cliffs, trees, and a large sandy bay protected on all sides but the front could make an ideal nesting spot... maybe.
